Lord, we ask for your continued blessings upon our students and our teachers. We pray that you would bless them spiritually through your Word – strengthen their faith, increace their knowledge, and empower them to live. We also pray that your would continue to help each of them grow physically, academically, and socially.

The children of our School and Sunday School will share the Christmas Gospel in Word and Song on Saturday, December 21 at 5:30pm and again on Sunday, December 22 at 9:30am. All are welcome!

Our four basketball teams (5-6 Boys, 5-6 Girls, 7-8 Boys, 7-8 Girls) have all been practicing a number of weeks already but games finally begin this weekend – December 7! Go Falcons!

Gethsemane Lutheran School will be on Thanksgiving break Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1. From our family to yours: have a blessed, safe, relaxing, and grateful Thanksgiving.

With the soccer season officially coming to a close, volleyball practices are in full swing. Students in grades 5-8 will be competing in a two-division, all-day volleyball tournament at Nebraska Lutheran High School on Saturday, October 26. Go Falcons!

Next week all of our teachers will be attending a two-district, five-state conference of Lutheran Elementary School Teachers in Denver, CO. This continuing education opportunity certainly enables our teachers to grow professionally, but, more importantly, it enables them to grow spiritually as they gather around Word and Sacrament with fellow teachers of our national church…

This testing enables our parents and our teachers to gauge the progress of each student in comparison to not only their scores from previous years but also in comparison to national averages.
