Jesus forgives us! Jesus’ parable of the lost son is really about the forgiving love of the Father. God forgives us because of his Son, Jesus. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me.” – Psalm 23:4

Jesus leads us! The Parable of the Sower and the Seed reminds us not only to share the Gospel but to feed our own faith with the Gospel. “He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3

Jesus provides for us! The one who miraculous fed the 5,000, continues to provide us with all we need both physically and spiritually. “He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet water.” – Psalm 23:2

Jesus cares for his sheep. Jesus cares about his sheep. Psalm 23:1 – “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.”
