Our annual outdoor service and pig roast is scheduled for Sunday, September 8. Worship in the church parking lot will begin at 10:30. Lunch will be served at 11:30 in front of the school. Old Fashioned County Fair will take place on the soccer field at 11:30 – pony rides, carnival games, and a dunk…

The 2019-20 school year marks the 72nd year that Gethsemane Lutheran has been able to offer Christian Education to our members and our community. We praise God for the blessings of our Lutheran Elementary School and we ask the Lord to bless our teachers, our students, and our parents.

The first day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21. We will hold our annual “back pack to school” night on Monday, August 19. Opening services for Gethsemane Lutheran School will be held on August 17-18. For more information on our school – or to enroll – please call the church office.

The Vine will meet on Wednesday, August 7 from 9:00 to 10:30. The Vine is open to all children (and their parents) age 4 and younger. It is a morning full of fun activities and interactive learning. Most importantly, we will share with these children the forgiving love of Jesus.

A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who helped give our children a memorable week of Vacation Bible School. God blessed us with a great week and a great group of children who heard about Jesus every day – and had a lot of fun doing it!

Today, June 17, we blast off on our four-day Miraculous Mission as we explore the amazing universe that God created. VBS runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm and is open to all children pre-school through 4th grade.

The countdown to Vacation Bible School has begun! Our Miraculous Mission is set to blast off on Monday, June 17, at 9:00am. Join us for this amazing excursion as we view and observe the power and might of our awesome God. Register today!

We are pleased to announce that the Vine will continue through summer! Parents and children 0-4 are invited to join us on the first Wednesday of the month from 9:00 to 10:30 (June 5, July 3 and August 7).

The members of Gethsemane will be gathering with members from the other Wisconsin Synod Churches in the greater Omaha area on Sunday, May 2, at Sumtur Amphitheater in Papillion at 9:30am to celebrate Jesus’ ascension into heaven 40 days after his resurrection. There will be no services at Gethsemane on May 1 or May 2….

This week we thank God for mothers! Children under age 5 and their parents are invited to join us on Wednesday morning at 9:00!
