Lord Jesus Christ, as teachers around Omaha and across our nation prepare for a new school year – one that is sure to be full of its own set of unique challenges – we pray that you would give them patience and strength. Keep them safe and healthy. Enable their love for their students to shine through in all they do and say. Help them connect with each student in a personal way. Let them experience the joy of watching their students grow academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. Bless the teachers here at Gethsemane Lutheran School that they may grow in their own faith as they share your Word with our children. Amen.
