Per Mrs. Brauer, the Junior Choir is scheduled to sing on Sunday morning, January 31, at the beginning of the 8:00am and 10:30am services. Please have your child to church at 7:40am to quickly run through the song prior. We will meet in Miss Hunt’s classroom. Thank you!

The Lutheran Elementary School basketball tournament will be held on February 26 – 27 at the Nebraska Lutheran High School campus. More information to be shared with participating families as the date nears. GO FALCONS!

Congratulations to all of our GLS readers on completing the Principal’s 1,000 book reading challenge! Prizes and fun will be sponsored by Friends of Christian Education (FOCE) during this year’s Spirit Week to honor our readers, and Mr. Pederson will be wrapped up like a mummy, as planned. We will be sure to capture some…

All Gethsemane basketball teams resume practice schedules this week. We have a full game schedule for the month of January. Good luck to all the teams! GO FALCONS!

Christmas For Kids will be held on Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon this year. Kids ages Pre-K through 4th grade are encouraged to attend. To register, CLICK HERE.

GLS will have its Fall Break October 7-9. There will be NO SCHOOL as our teachers will have an in-service (10/7) and be at Teachers’ Conference (10/8 – 10/9).

A new GLS flyer is being constructed. If you ever need a quick handout to give to a neighbor or coworker that is asking about our school, please pick one up at the office.

We extend a warm and cordial welcome to the newest member of our teaching staff, Miss Rachel Veith. Rachel arrived in Omaha a few weeks ago after a accepting the call to serve as a teacher in our school. Welcome Rachel! God bless your year ahead!
