Mrs. Roberts serves as our departmentalized teacher, supporting the teaching staff with various subjects, including Art. Developing artistical talents and encouraging individual creativity are more vital for youth today than ever before. Mrs. Roberts and several other volunteers also assist with props and staging for our fall and spring musical productions each year. Art classes, artistic support for musicals, art projects, and science/history/art fairs are just a few of the extra-curriculars that are a part of our Art program.

Youth attending C4K-2017 carefully put together Christmas banners. Christmas For Kids (C4K) includes times for music, arts and lots of other fun activities. Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed in so many ways, helping to make a fun day for all the kids.

Christmas For Kids 2017 was held on Saturday morning, 12/9 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. It was great to see so many kids here, enjoying the crafts/activities, singing joyfully and learning about their Savior Jesus. Thank you to everyone who helped out!

One year, our kindergarten class worked hard, rolled up their sleeves and created Mother’s Day bouquets. What a beautiful garden of flowers!

Artwork from our students is often put on display in the school and lunchroom areas. Art Fair display from our 5th-8th grade classrooms is shown here.

The upper graders got a little messy constructing some paper mache 3-D letters. Fun project!

Upper grades pose under a cool sculpture after visiting the Joslyn Art Museum. This field trip capped off a year of studying the “History of Art.”
Congratulations to all the Gethsemane students who participated in the Science and Arts Fair held at Nebraska Lutheran High School this past weekend! Too many winners to list by name here so congratulations to all involved.
